The completion of a long term development plan allowed the Hanmer Springs Playcentre to stage and carry out landscape projects as funding and fundraising allowed them to. The Playcentre wanted to focus the plan on connecting the children to nature, to encourage the connection with the landsacpe and foster kaitiakitanga amongst the children.
